This page explains what evis.tz is, what our assistance includes, where our responsibility ends, and how travelers can make an informed choice before paying.
An independent Tanzania visa assistance service
evis.tz is a private application-assistance service. It is not a Tanzania government website, embassy, consulate, or immigration authority. Travelers may choose to manage their own visa process; using our service is optional.
Our role is to make a document-heavy process easier to understand. We help applicants identify a likely visa route, organize the information needed for an application, review uploaded documents for common problems, and keep the case information in one place.
What our assistance includes
The service may include a nationality and travel-purpose route check, a structured application form, document collection, checks for common data-entry inconsistencies, image and file-quality review, requests for missing information, and application-related support messages.
Before payment, applicants see the applicable total and can review the information they have provided. Our assistance fee pays for this preparation and support work. Where a government fee is included in a displayed total, it is identified separately from the assistance fee.
What we cannot promise
We cannot guarantee approval, a fixed government decision date, airline boarding, or admission at the border. Visa decisions and entry clearance remain solely with the competent Tanzanian authorities. A correctly prepared application can reduce avoidable errors, but it cannot remove official discretion.
We also do not describe internal prioritization as guaranteed government fast-tracking. If an applicant has an urgent departure, unusual immigration history, employment, study, volunteering, or another non-standard purpose, the case may require additional review or a different permit route.
Mainland Tanzania and Zanzibar
Our guidance covers travel to Mainland Tanzania, Zanzibar, or a combined itinerary. Travelers selecting Zanzibar are reminded that entry-related insurance requirements can be separate from the visa process. A visa and an insurance policy serve different purposes, and one does not automatically replace the other.
How we protect clarity and accuracy
Country guides are structured around the traveler’s passport nationality, purpose of travel, destination, document readiness, and possible re-entry. We place short answers and decision tools before longer explanations so users can act without reading every paragraph.
Material visa statements are reviewed against primary government or official travel sources where available. Every guide displays a review date. When a rule is uncertain, nationality-dependent, or likely to require authority review, we state that limitation instead of presenting an assumption as a guarantee.
Support and corrections
Applicants can contact support before or during an application. Questions about an existing order should include the application reference but should not include unnecessary passport information in an unsecured message.
If you identify information that appears outdated or unclear, use the contact page and include the page URL and the statement in question. Material corrections are reviewed and, where appropriate, reflected in the relevant guide.
